Making French fries at home is straightforward and only requires a few basic, easily accessible items.   • Potatoes: 4 nos. (or more, depending on the quantity you need)
  • Garlic powder: ¾ tsp
  • Paprika: ¼ to ½ tsp
  • Red chilli powder: ¼ cup (if you do not have or prefer instead of paprika)
  • Salt: According to taste
  • Oregano: According to taste


  • Remove the skins from the potatoes and set them aside.
  • Having first peeled and cleaned the potatoes, you should next cut them into appropriate pieces or sticks.
  • After you’ve chopped them, place the pieces in a dish and cover them with water that’s been chilled in the freezer. You will need to place them in the refrigerator for one to two hours.
  • After the allotted time has passed, remove them from the water and empty them completely.
  • Once all the water has been removed, wipe the sticks well with a dry, clean towel.
  • After the Sticks were dry, they were placed in the fryer for about five minutes.
  • Fry each set of sticks for about five to eight minutes in a medium-hot oil frame.
  • After the stickers have been fried, move them to a plate with holes in them and set them aside to cool.
  • After you take the sticks out of the oven, season them with things like garlic powder, cayenne or red chilli powder, salt, and oregano so that each stick gets the appropriate amount of flavour.
  • Finally, place the finished French fries on a serving platter for you and your family to enjoy.

You can produce healthier French fries by cooking them in an air fryer instead of a traditional fryer. When compared to the conventional cooking technique, this one will let you fry the potatoes in much less fat.
